About these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and us, the sole proprietor in British Columbia who runs Nomweek (饭周到). By creating an account or using Nomweek, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Your account

• You sign in with Google or a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email safe, since it is the key to your account.
• You need to be 19 or older to create an account.
• One account per person. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Me → Account.

Deals and prices

The deals in Nomweek come from the weekly flyers that stores publish. We read them carefully, but mistakes happen: a price may be read wrong, a store may change or end a deal early, or an item may sell out. Always check the price in the store before you buy.

We don't sell anything and we don't take part in your purchase. What you pay is between you and the store.

AI-generated content

Some of what you see is written by AI: suggested menus and the reasons for them, assistant answers, receipt reading, and recipes marked "AI-generated, not reviewed". AI can be wrong. It can get quantities, cooking times or ingredients wrong, or misread a receipt. Use your own judgement, and check anything that matters.

Food, health and allergies

Nomweek is not medical, nutrition or allergy advice. Nutrition numbers are estimates. Even if you've told us about allergies or restrictions, always read the ingredients and product labels yourself, and talk to a doctor or dietitian about health questions.

Follow safe food handling: cook food to safe temperatures and store it properly.

Using Nomweek fairly

Nomweek is free during testing. To keep it that way, we may set limits, for example on how many assistant messages you can send each month. Please don't:

• Copy or scrape the app's content or data in bulk, or use automated tools to access it.
• Try to break, overload or get around the app's security or limits.
• Use the assistant for things that have nothing to do with meals, cooking or groceries, or to produce harmful content.
• Upload anything that isn't yours to share, or that is illegal or offensive.

Your content

What you add (preferences, receipts, notes, messages) stays yours. You let us store and process it so we can run Nomweek for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Stores and trademarks

Nomweek is independent. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any supermarket. Store names and logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to tell you where a deal is.

Plus subscription

• Nomweek Plus is billed monthly (CA$7.99) or yearly (CA$79.99) through Stripe. Prices are in Canadian dollars; taxes are added where they apply.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• New subscribers get a 14-day free trial, once per person. Cancel before it ends and you won't be charged.
• Cancel anytime under Me → Subscription → Manage subscription. You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for.
• We don't give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it.
• If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while; if it still fails, your account goes back to the Free plan.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A new price applies from your next renewal after that.

Testing phase: provided as is

Nomweek is still being tested. Features may change, break or be removed, and data may occasionally be lost. We provide it as is, without promises that it will always be available, accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for losses that come from using Nomweek, such as paying more than a listed price, a wrong deal, or a recipe that didn't turn out. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

Suspending or ending an account

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or misuses the service. Where it makes sense, we'll tell you why. You can stop using Nomweek and delete your account whenever you like.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email about important changes. If you keep using Nomweek after that, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
